This fall has been a rough one.
Katie has been back to school since early September and we still haven’t found our groove.
Our weeks are filled with making lunches, school drop off and pick up, work, errands, voice lessons, swim lessons, homework, laundry and, well, life.
Coming off a summer of hours on end of quality time, it’s been tough.
We’ve spent more time than we should counting the days until the weekend when we can slow things down and regroup.
What we need is vacation. But that’s not in the cards anytime soon.
Last week, we were offered tickets to Disney on Ice here in Sacramento.
And quite fittingly, this year’s theme is Passport to Adventure.
Friends, that’s exactly what we need.
This Wednesday, we’ll pile into the car after dinner and head over to Sleep Train Arena to see our old friends from The Lion King, The Little Mermaid, Peter Pan, Lilo & Stitch and more.
And Thursday, we’ll be back to the daily grind, but we’ll have had a bit of a break from it all. And there’s nothing we need more.
If your family could use a getaway, you can find the show closest to you by visiting the Disney on Ice website.
Because these guys are all waiting for you…
