Clomid, infertilityToday is day one of our first Clomid cycle.

It has been over five years since I’ve taken Clomid and my memories of the experience are not positive.

At all.

The memories of the sweating, bloating, crabbiness, and did I mention sweating (?) have me filled with dread.

But, if we are able to get pregnant, of course it will all be worth it.

Thank you all for sticking with me through all of this.

You are sticking with me, right? Right? ;)

Good luck, my dear. My sister had to use clomid and I know it was NOT easy for her. She dreads having to use it again.

  3. Good luck Craig. I mean you :) (Ducks)

Of course I'll be here the whole time, handing you virtual paper towels to blot the sweat.

    xo

Totally sticking with you…and drinking wine with you along the way!

I will be here also… I can't imagine this will be an easy experience, but in the end it will be so worth it!!

  6. Good luck!

Best of luck with it all.

I remember a friend on Clomid calling me one night late, because she figured that was better than murdering her husband. "What is he doing that is driving you crazy?" I asked.

    The answer: "He's… BREATHING!"

If this is your feeble attempt to get me to leave you alone? You'll have to try harder.

I'm thinking of you! I remember not so long ago when I was about to start taking it and you were so supportive. You wouldn't even tell me about the side effects you'd experienced because you didn't want me to be paranoid. :-) I wish you a ton of luck – getting pregnant and staying sane.

  12. Good luck! I hope you get pregnant right away and barely sweat at all!

  13. I'll come sweat with you. And your crankiness is no match for my boob bitching.

    Chug, chug, chug!

Just think of it as a new drinking game!

Now, start thinking about your bitchiness factor: Where are you today on the bitchy-scale? Can't wait to hear where will you be in a week. Two weeks.

Don't sweat the small stuff. But be sure to tell us all about it.

Especially when your sweating and bitchy at the same time. ;-)

*sarcasm off* Wishing you sweet, sweet success!

I hated Clomid but if it helps you get pregnant, I will shout it's praises from the rooftops.

    Good luck darlin!!!!! Xoxo

I read "sweating" as "swearing," but something tells me that's not going to be uncommon, either. Although I have a very hard time picturing you dropping the "f-bomb," ever.

Huge, huge, huge hugs from over here. It'll be worth it.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm sweating, bloated and crabby and I'm not on Clomid.

And even if it doesn't make you feel any better, it's still true.

So yeah. I'm sticking with you. Whether you like it or not.

    It's what crabby ladies do.

Wishing you all the luck in the world, my friend! Bottoms up. :)

Good luck! My RE does Femara instead of Clomid since it has much fewer side effects. If the side effects get too much, maybe ask about that option?

Totally sticking with you and PRAYING for you and your family. I hope this is a easy and quick process for you and that you get that beautiful BFP soon!

  23. Of course I will.
    You can do this.
    xoxo
