Yum – we love doing that too! Damn diet.

My kids have been out of school for three days now. Besides meals, bathroom and bed – neither of them have left the porch where they have been reading non-stop. They have both finished five books in three days. Their current favorite authors are Kate DiCamillo and Roald Dahl. Raising avid readers is bringing me so much joy. Also – they are quiet. ;)

Have a great weekend my friend.

  2. I am trying to wipe your post out of my brain. I do NOT need to have the supplied to make ice cream in my own house. I might never eat anything else :)

Abbey had her first recital this week, and (despite long days) it was absolute joy to see the cuteness of her and the other little ones in her class. So perfect. Sigh.

We just took my son swimming – he didn't want to leave! Seeing him have a blast brings me such joy. Have yourself a great weekend Nichole!

    Looks YUMMY!!
My joys this week….so many! Being a friend, having a friend, picking plums right off the tree at my mom's and making home made plum jam. Getting free tickets to Sea World! And of course my boys!

I think that ice cream right there would bring me some joy right now, at 11pm when I should be sleeping!

What brought me joy this week was shutting down…and letting our summer schedule take over. My daughter collected a huge bag of books at the library and has already finished 5 novels. I love to watch them read!

Nichole where did you get this ball? I know Katie loved that it was blue! Max and I could have some great summer fun with that!
This week my joy was "Not Working!" I spent quality time with Max and I get to do this until school starts back up in August! Woo hoo for summer break!

  7. I have to have a ball like that! What is it called?? :-)

My son is turning 14 on the 22nd of June so I spent time this week writing a birthday post for him…

I also looked back at all the pictures we've taken of him (well, not all, but a large portion of them).

    And that? Brought me joy.

    Oh my baby boy.

    So much joy.

    Yum-o!! I LOVE cookies 'n' cream anything.

This week seeing Lucas share toys with a younger child brought me a lot of joy and a glimpse as to how wonderful a big brother he might be someday. :)
