Smells of Joy and a Recap

The two (yes, just two!) gorgeous gardenia blossoms in my garden that greeted me yesterday brought me the loveliest bit of joy this week!

Those two blooms hint at all that’s to come…evenings outside with wine and my handsome husband.

I’m certain that little smells as wonderful.

Happy summer!

And now, it’s your turn! ¬†What brought you joy this week?

Please share in the comments!

Oh that's beautiful! Wish I had a garden. This week, new friends on Twitter brought me joy :)

That blossom is gorgeous! We are just finally getting leaves on the trees. It was sunny FIVE days in a row this week. I cannot stop smiling about it. I do believe Winter is truly over. Have a great weekend.

Beautiful flower! I love those….so sweet.

This week, what gave ME joy was to send a special little something to someone special…and hope that it brings them the greatest joy ever.

Gardenias make me think all sorts of lovely thoughts of my husband.

This week, I had all sorts of joy from a day spent with family. Sometimes, it is the smallest things that bring the biggest joy.

Our gardenias are blooming, too. One whole side of our house is lined with them. Huge bushes. I took my daughter out to help me cut some this week and bring them in the house. Love that smell. That was one of my many joys this week.

Another was watching her reaction as a caterpillar crawled up her arm. Priceless!

Garden at home dates- Love! And yes, the smells are intoxicating!

My joy was going on a field trip with my daughter this week. I saw the biggest tulips I've ever seen, got kissed by the sun, and saw my girl shine. Perfection.

I'm about to go get my joy today…We are going to my sister-in-law's house. They live in Temecula and we're going wine tasting (it's not Napa, but.)

My kids LOVE her kids. I LOVE her (like a sister). My husband LOVES her husband (like a brother). It's a virtual festival of love when we're together (with wine!) and then we're all sleeping over and having a big brunch and more love tomorrow.

AND we get to bring our dogs.
    So yes. Joy for sure.

  8. Jen Has A Pen

I love Canadian Geese. This week, they caused a traffic stall on me twice because babies were crossing the road with their parents. So sweet. :-)

  9. Peggy

Me catbird announced his return with his beautiful songs. For 15 + yrs I've had a very plain looking bird that shows up in my yard but sings the happiest, cutest songs ever. He is a type of mockingbird. He reminds me of the beauty of summer each year, and to not judge a book by it's cover.

  10. Those flowers are incredibly beautiful! Joy…spending "Ava day" with my girl this Saturday as we prepare for the journey from having an only child to a big sister. She's ready for the job and we're ready to share the love!
