These past couple of weeks have been lovely…there has been so much for which I have been grateful.
The love of a little boy for his stuffed puppy…
A handwritten thank you note for the tiniest of things from a company that I’m honored to work with…
The joy of a warm tubby and a tiny duck…
Completely unnecessary, but much-appreciated flowers from my dear friend, Sherri…
Dim sum and late-night conversation with my lovely friend, Eileen…
The emergence of warmer weather and Katie’s blue Crocs…
Sixty-four colors of Crayola bliss…
Joy really is found in the smallest of moments.

Ahhh….it really is the small things! Sadie just busted out her purple crocs!!
I love this! And I loved our evening! It was more needed than I even realized. Thank you for being a friend.
mmm yes! so completely true. and that ducky photo? completely scrumptious. <3
Food looks delicious. Cute pics of the kids.
The box of 64 comes in markers now???!! Boy, I am so outta touch! Hahaha!
*Sigh* Yes, Yes, it does. This was a lovely reminder to stop and notice all that is good. Of course it is! That's just what you *do!* XO
Wait – warm enough for crocs??? #jealous
So sweet!
(and remember how you said I was brave to let Felix paint in the house? I won't even buy him markers. now *that* is brave!)
Oh my kids are never finding out about the 64 makers..yet
Love all your pictures and all you have to be gratefrul for. Our human connections are such wonderful surprises and daily gifts.
Awesome! SB has that same puppy, too! We haven't been able to break out the beach gear here yet, but we are heading down to Naples for a beach vacation in a few weeks. Can't wait!
What delicous little pieces of happiness! I can't wait until we finally make it to crocs weather. Our little taste of it in Nashville last week may have made us all a little more stir-crazy (if that's possible!)
Aww, adorable children!
And I want dim sum for breakfast now.
This post makes me smile. Quite often, it's the little things that mean the most.
My son is beyond excited to be able to wear his crocs. He lives in those things!
Lovely photos, Nichole. And while I love the emergence of kid's crocs, it's also disturbing to see the emerging of adult crocs…
Oh, I feel so lucky to have made your list of things to be grateful for! I so enjoyed our time together and can't wait for the next time!
Those little crocks are adorable…my daughter had a little pink pair at one time.
beautiful! that food looks amazing… love late night talks with friends… and tulips? Icing on the cake!
Ah I love that!! You take great pictures btw!! But I think the box of crayola is my fave….made me smile. Because every kiddo creates a masterpiece with their crayola!!
And those photos show the moments absolutely beautifully.
So so beautifully.
It is so true. It is just these little moments that add up to all the things we are grateful for! Especially when the little ones gives us special little moments all day long that help us forget when we get frustrated with them!
The small things and gestures in life are so often what we appreciate the most – I'm a big fan of handwritten thank yous! And isn't it amazing what kids can do with a simple thing like a piece of paper and a box of crayons or markers?
Thank you for a wonderful reminder of all the many small wondrous amazing things that I, too have to be grateful for!
That's a wonderful list!
Mmmm. 64 colors of markers? LOVE.
Oh, I love tulips! My parents own the flower shop I work at, and when the tulips come in season, I usually take a bunch or two home a month just to feel some cheer!
Katie lives in those things all summer! Love that they're so easy to clean.
Yay, summer!
I've been craving more dim sum since I woke up on Sunday!
Thanks so much for a fun night!
That was one of my favorite shots too.
Thank you!
Thank you, Jessica!
They make it pretty easy on me.
I know! How amazing is that?!
Thank you, Galit.
And when you stop and look around, it's amazing what you see.
I'll be complaining about the heat in no time! Stay tuned.
I'm living on the edge over here.
Getting wild with Crayola.
I hear you about being stir-crazy!
It has been the longest, rainiest winter this year.
I'm so happy to see the sunshine again.
Thank you, Renee.
Mmmm….dim sum for breakfast. That sounds like a plan!
Thank you, Evonne!
Yes, the little things mean so much.
Giggle.
I fought the kid croc for so long and then just caved when I realized how easy they are to clean.
Still won't buy a pair for myself though.
We had such an amazing time Saturday night!
What a lovely treat it was.
Thank you, Crystal!
I take about 338 pictures at a time and usually get about 3 that I like.
The markers are a slice of heaven!
Coming from you, that compliment means the world!
Thank you so much.
I can't go in to any store at this point w/out having to buy something with Dora the Explorer on it. SB is OBSESSED! LOL
What are you jealous about? You just went to Tahoe!
This will be the first time we have ever traveled with SB. We've been too chicken up to now…
Enough winter already!
It's a good thing that the good far outweighs the struggles!
I find that when I'm most stressed, I just need to slow down and look around to see all of the amazing little things that can change my frame of mind.
Happy sighs for the small moments.
Thank you, Tonya.
Those small things can get swallowed up by the big stuff sometimes.
So nice to slow down a bit and look around.
Thanks, Ally!
I know! Swoon!
They were the loveliest little surprise that brought joy for days.
Tulips are such happy flowers.
And lucky you!
I LOVE this kind of post! Thankful with pictures. and tulips? are my favorite…hey Sherri…do you hear that?
and holy crap do I want that marker box!
