I am so excited to kick of my new Small Moments Spotlight series that I thought today would never come.
This week, I have four posts to share with you.
Two of these posts have stuck with me since they were originally published and the other two posts are new to me. They all make me weak.
Gift from frogs is from Kris of Pretty All True. It’s no secret what Kris means to me. I’ve written about her time and again. I’ve spoken of her friendship and her writing. But this post, well, this post touched a place in my heart and I will carry it with me for always. It is delicate and wonderful.
A warm night, is by my lovely friend Cheryl, of Mommy Pants. I read this post when it was first published and when I sat down to dream up this series, it immediately came to mind. It is warm and lovely and full of wonder. The love that she feels for her baby is so vibrant and real that you can feel it. Truly amazing.
Dolphin Day, from Nancy of Away We Go, highlights the magic that happens when we turn what initially seems like an inconvenience into a day of memories. Nancy is a gifted writer, so I fully expected to like her post. But I didn’t just like it…I was swept away by it.
Leigh Ann, of The Twin Spin, recently wrote Night time, interrupted. This post is tender and sweet. She captures a moment that we can all appreciate. She write so beautifully of what it feels like to have a moment rise up to grab and almost shake you to make you see it.
Please know that if you submitted something this week and I didn’t feature it here, that doesn’t mean that I won’t in the weeks to come. I might just be holding onto it for now.
If you happen upon a post that captures a small moment, or if you’ve written one yourself, please use my “contact me” tab (it’s over there on the left under “site links”) and send me the link.
