Thank God for videos, b/c you capture them like that.

    No, wait..changed my mind.

"Tis torture to see them like that, how they once were, when they no longer are.

Those have got to be two of the most adorable little ones I've ever seen (or heard!).

Thanks for the smile with my cereal this morning, my friend!

Your little ones are just the best.

I watch YouTube videos of my little girl allthetime at work! Love it.

  8. Jennifer midwestmomments.blogspot.com

Love, love, love! I need to set the camcorder to constantly record because I always miss the spontaneous stuff. Their little voices, mannerisms, etc.

  9. Janelle

The little voices are the best. What a sweet video of one special little girl – and that Grammie is lucky indeed to be getting such a marvelous picture!

  10. Lyndsey

OH how I LOVE that voice! Merry Christmas Katie! I miss the craft table!

  11. ksluiter

Oh I LOVE this! This is why the video cameras are so wonderful! I hope I never forget the way Eddie "chirps" with excitement…since he is being our slow-to-talk little boy.

You can totally hear my New England accent in the video. I don't usually hear it, but there was no mistaking it there!

I am so grateful for video. I took that on my phone. ;)

  14. Nichole inthesesmallmoments.com

    Thank you, CDG!

  15. Nichole inthesesmallmoments.com

I can't tell you how often I go back and forth between those two thoughts!
We play slideshows on our TV during the day and there are times when I just sit down and am lost in sadness over how small they were and how big they are now.
It all goes by so fast.

  16. Nichole inthesesmallmoments.com

    Thank you, Katrina!
Can you believe how big they are?
Love and miss you too. Merry Christmas!
I wish we could meet at Grammy's for some tourtiere pie!

  17. Nichole inthesesmallmoments.com

Thank you, Sherri. They are just magic.

  18. Nichole inthesesmallmoments.com

    Thank you!
    I love that part!
If she wasn't such a sweet girl, she would have added, "Duh!"

  19. Nichole inthesesmallmoments.com

    I would do the same!
She loves to sit and watch herself too…over and over and over again. ;)

  20. Nichole inthesesmallmoments.com

    Thank you so much, Jennifer!
You almost need it on constantly. There's so much great stuff and they grow so quickly.

  21. Nichole inthesesmallmoments.com

That voice is like that of an angel. We waited for so long to hear it that I still don't tire of it. :)
Yes, my mom is a lucky grammy indeed!
We miss and love you all so much. :)

  22. Nichole inthesesmallmoments.com

That voice is the result of hours and hours of your love and nurturing.
    We love and miss you!
    Playdate over break? :)

  23. Nichole inthesesmallmoments.com

Katie was slow to get started too, but now? Watch out!
Eddie will be talking non-stop in no time.
Definitely catch that chirping, though. You'll be so happy that you did. :)

  24. Nichole inthesesmallmoments.com

    Welcome, Mari!
And thank you so much. :)

  25. Elizabeth Flora Ross efloraross.com

That is SO adorable! And knowing her history with speech issues, it touches my heart to hear that sweet little voice!

  26. Nichole inthesesmallmoments.com

    Thank you, Elizabeth.
This is what you have to look forward to.
I am certain that you'll get there.

  27. Elizabeth Flora Ross efloraross.com

I know we will, too, and I can't wait! :)

  28. Cheryl @ Mommypants mommypants.com

    Sweetness!

  29. Nichole inthesesmallmoments.com

    Deliciousness, too. :)

  30. The Zany Housewife

She is adorable. I cannot wait until mine starts talking more. Or wait, maybe I can. She's not at your daughter's level of sweetness quite yet. ;)

  31. Nichole inthesesmallmoments.com

    Thank you!

The funny thing is I always think that I no longer have my New England accent. Then I hear my voice on video and I'm shocked! :)

    Yes, thank goodness for video!

  32. Nichole inthesesmallmoments.com

    Thank you so much.
Once she starts talking, she will. not. stop.
    You've been warned. ;)

  33. Rachel mommyneedsavacation.com

OMG!That is the cutest video ever!!! Your kids are adorable!!!! And that voice!

  34. Mom

This grammie is indeed very lucky! I love seeing and hearing their voices. I hit replay many times!
And I do love the accent!

  35. Nichole inthesesmallmoments.com

    Thanks, Rachel!
Yes, that voice is dreamy. :)

  36. Nichole inthesesmallmoments.com

The accent surfaces when I'm tired, sick, or have had a glass of wine. That night? It was probably all three! :)

    Love you, Mom.

  37. The voices…aww…and adorableness :)

I already miss my son's small voice when he used to say "froggity" instead of foggy.

They are magic, keep on taking those videos.

I need to get my video cam out.

    Merry Christmas!

  38. kris

You know I don't click videos.

    But you?

    I love.

    Thank you for today.

  39. Yuliya shesuggests.com/

Oh my goodness gracious. Such sweet babies, or big kids however they prefer to be called. I have to start getting the camera out more often, I have exactly two videos of my kid and she's almost a year, bad mom.
