Not a Single One…

I am so grateful for this man…

…a man who has been by my side through everything.

Katie recently had her 3-year check up and Craig was there.

He has always been there…

He didn’t miss a single prenatal appointment with any of our three pregnancies.

He never missed a single of the 837 classes we took while pregnant…he even attended the breastfeeding class, as he recognized that his support would likely be what got me through those early days of nursing.

He has been at each and every one of the kids’ appointments with the pediatrician.

His committment to our family and his desire to be there for all of the moments, big and the small, fill me with love and gratitude.

Thank you, Craig. I truly love you.

  1. Julie

    Consider yourself very blessed!

  2. Jamie

Great, now I have tears in my eyes. Sigh. I can't wait to be a Mom one day…not the right time yet…but my hormones are yelling at me. Sigh.

  3. Peggy

    He's a good man. Definately a keeper :o)

  4. Natalie

I was gonna say he's a keeper, too…but Peggy beat me to it!

It sounds like you know exactly how blessed you are…and so is he!

  5. I love this! Cort has been at every single one of Eddie's prenatal and postpartum appointments too! We have wonderful husbands. And look! I made it through a comment without using any unsavory words! ha!

  6. My husband is the same and I am thankful everyday. And Craig's right, without Ken I wouldn't of survived nursing the first time around. I wouldn't of survived pregnancy without him!
3 pregnancies? Is this good or bad news?

  7. Maryline

This photo… speaks every word of your post.
    I love it.
Please continue to enjoy each and every one of these small moments. And to share them with us.

  8. Nichole

I do. Life hasn't always been so wonderful…I truly appreciate the happiness he brings me.

  9. Nichole

Ah, the siren song of the hormones! You'll get there. Enjoy this special time — engagement and wedding planning is magical.

  10. Nichole

We both scored, didn't we? ;)

  11. Nichole

I think that a huge part of happiness is taking stock and seeing what is right before your eyes.
    I am so incredibly blessed.

  12. Nichole

I'm so proud of you, Katie! You kept it clean!
Cort's a great guy too. Isn't it a great feeling that you don't have to do any of it alone?

  13. Nichole

Between Katie and Matthew, we suffered a miscarriage. We were blessed to get pregnant just two months later and we now have our sweet Matthew.

If we hadn't miscarried, we wouldn't have him. And we would have missed out on the wonder that is our little guy.

And who knew breastfeeding would be so challenging at first?

  14. Nichole

Thank you…I love the photo, too.
They are so in love with each other.

  15. That is truly amazing. I love the photo of the two of them together- what a special bond!

You're so lucky to have someone so supportive and in love with your family. My husband shares the same quality, but his career limits his involvement unfortunately. Every chance he gets, he's there. It means the world to me, but even more to our little hooligans who look up to him so much.

  16. that was really sweet! couples like you restore my faith in love.

  17. So sweet. I'm glad you're still so in love and were blessed with a man who is just as good a husband as he is father. That makes me happy to hear. :)

  18. Aww! Definitely a keeper…

  19. KLZ

Breastfeeding class definitely earns him some brownies. Most men run screaming from it.

  20. What an amazing husband! And a great role model for your kids.

  21. Nichole

There is something so handsome about a man who truly wants to be there.
Our kids are truly lucky, aren't they?

  22. Nichole

Your day will come. Have no doubt.

  23. Nichole

I'm blessed to be married to a man who recognizes that a marriage takes commitment and that being a parent means being there.
I suspect that Joel is also that kind of man. :)

  24. Nichole

    He really, really is. :)

  25. Nichole

He was such a great sport. I still remember how cute he was.
In one of our baby care classes, he was committed to perfecting his swaddle on a baby doll.
I fell in love with him all over again.

  26. Nichole

    He really is.
I didn't have a dad, so it makes my heart swell when I see him with our kids. I am so happy that they get to experience what it's like to have a father who simply adores them.
